Technology magazine T3 has appointed James Beechinor-Collins, pictured left, as its new editor. Beechinor-Collins has taken over from Mark Higham, who left to go travelling.
Having begun his magazine career in 1994 as group art editor looking after IPC titles Cycling Week, Cycle Sport and Mountain Bike Rider, Beechinor-Collins became deputy editor of Mountain Bike Rider before moving to Cabal Communications to be deputy on Maximum Mountain Bike.
Future has extended its computing division with the launch of unofficial Windows XP magazine Windows XP Answers and a new 24-page supplement for its specialist IT title Linux Format.
The 116-page bi-monthly Windows XP Answers will target the more technical Windows users, providing tips on how to get the most out of the system. It has a cover price of £4.99.
