Fighting for quality news media in the digital age.

BBC staff on Radio 4 Front Row and Saturday Review allege ‘culture of bullying’, report

By Press Gazette

Some 15 members of staff working on BBC radio arts programmes have signed a petition alleging bullying, The Sunday Times reports.

The move comes just days after NUJ members at the BBC backed a motion complaining that action had not been taking to tackle bullying in the wake of the Rose Review.

Staff who work on programmes including the Front Row and Saturday Review on Radio 4 have made allegations about “a culture of bullying and a failure of management to protect staff”, a BBC human resources department email quoted by The Sunday Times states.
