The BBC leads the RTS journalism awards nominations again this year, with 17 nominations in all but two of the 16 categories.
ITN has four nominations for Channel 4 News, nine for ITV News and two for More4.
Sky News has been nominated in five categories.
The nations and regions current affairs award nominations are all BBC programmes � Facing the Past (Spotlight for BBC Northern Ireland); Parking (Inside Out for BBC Newcastle); and Stammer ) Inside Out East for BBC East).
The Afghanistan conflict dominates the international news nominations for ITN and the BBC, while Sky News ran with the China baby-snatchers story.
The winners of the RTS Television Journalism Awards 2005/2006, will be announced at a ceremony held at the London Hilton, Park Lane, on 20 February, hosted by Natasha Kaplinsky.
