Weekly property newspaper Avenues, which currently publishes in North London, is launching a sister publication in the east of the capital.
The title will concentrate on property and interiors and provide local information for anyone involved in buying, selling, renting or letting their home.
Avenues is edited by Hannah Nemeth, former editor of Exchange Contracts and features editor of Practical Householder.
She has also written for House Beautiful, Ideal Home, Perfect Home and Period Living.
Nemeth said: “Readers in the areas we cover are highly motivated and discerning.
“We aim to offer a good mix of interesting and informative features on interiors, gardening and finance as well as news on the highs and lows of the market in general.”
Publisher Eve Atkins said: “There’s a real gap in the market for a good quality property newspaper in East London, which I know we can fill.
“The area has been transformed in recent years and this is reflected in a thriving property market.”
From the end of June, 40,000 copies of Avenues East will be delivered free to selected homes in Bow, Stepney, Poplar, Whitechapel, Bethnal Green, Wapping, Surrey Quays, Mile End, Bow Common and Hackney.
A further 5,000 copies will be available to pick up at tube stations, estate agents and newsagents in the area.
