Archant teams up with website publisher The Daily UK to launch business supplement

By Robert Griffiths

Archant has teamed up with local news website publisher The Daily UK to launch a quarterly business supplement for Devon Life.

The Daily UK runs local news websites The Exeter Daily and The Plymouth Daily.

Marc Astley, editorial director for The Daily UK, said: “This partnership is unique in that a publisher with a 165-year history is working in partnership with a new, crowd-sourced, web-only business.”

On Friday, businesses in Devon attended the launch of the new magazine at Sandy Park, the home of the Exeter Chiefs rugby team.

Chiefs head coach Rob Baxter (pictured)  spoke on team management at the launch event.

Archant commercial director Anna Atkinson said:  “What is important is that this is the business community’s magazine. As well as a quality read we will also be offering people the opportunity to network with other businesses across the county.”
