Clive Anderson is to host the British Press Awards at London’s Hilton Hotel in Park Lane on 18 March.
The former barrister, who made his name as a comedy and talkshow host, has also developed a more serious side to his broadcasting career, winning a bronze award in last year’s Sony Radio Awards for his Five Live documentary on Jeffrey Archer.
