Artists & Illustrators, the magazine aimed at art students and professional artists, has added more pages and produced a special supplement to celebrate 200 issues. The May issue has gone up from 64 pages to 80 and will feature a supplement looking back at previous issues.
A&I has also doubled its print run and secured new distribution in Ireland where it sees potential for further growth given the economic downturn in England.
Publisher Ben Lane said: “We have got some big plans for later in the year. Ireland, is a good market for us. The economy is strong and a lot of artists and businesses want to work over there.”
A special issue devoted to Ireland is in the pipeline and A&I is also hoping to cash in on the popularity of digital cameras with a supplement in the July issue dedicated to digital cameras.
