By Press Gazette

A ten-part series of BBC Four’s media magazine show The Desk , presented by Wallpaper founder Tyler Brûle´, will begin on 18 January.

BBC Four claims the programme will deliver a fresh take on any and every aspect of the media world.

The Desk , produced by Winkontent and Moonbeam Films, will be filmed on location and in the studio.

It will have a mix of feature interviews, authored films and behind-the-scenes insight – from media manipulation to editors’ musical chairs in New York.

Following the media theme in the new year, BBC Four will be broadcasting an interactive television event, TV On Trial .

The programme will invite viewers, critics, commentators and media pundits to take part in a major interactive event to debate when British TV enjoyed its Golden Age.
